Patrick Maneck has been a partner of ZIEFLE UNGER since 2008.

Patrick Maneck advises companies and other legal entities in construction and architectural law as well as in the field of industrial property protection. He also acts as a external data protection officer for our clients. He has many years of experience in providing complex advice in the area of construction law as well as in litigation.

Patrick Maneck also advises on family and inheritance law. One focus of his work is providing strategic advice on inheritance law and the drafting of contracts for anticipated succession and testamentary arrangements. He advises in German and English.

Alexander Lutz has been a lawyer at ZIEFLE UNGER since 2009. In 2014, he was promoted to partner.

Alexander Lutz advises companies in the areas of insolvency and restructuring and is regularly appointed as an insolvency administrator. He also specialises in employment law, advising companies and executives on complex matters in this area. In addition, he presides over many years of litigation experience before labour and civil courts. He advises in German and English.

As the responsible partner, Alexander Lutz is in charge of our accident settlement department for many years. With his team of highly qualified colleagues, he manages the entire handling for numerous car dealerships.

Norman Runge has been a lawyer at ZIEFLE UNGER since 2011. In 2016, he was promoted to partner.

Norman Runge specialises in advising companies on M&A/corporate law as well as commercial property and tenancy law. One special focus of his work lies in the area of complex contract drafting and the provision of strategic legal advice to companies and entrepreneurs in connection with the formation, purchase, sale and succession of companies. He also represents our clients in arbitration proceedings.

Norman Runge worked as a trainee lawyer at a law firm specialising in commercial law in New York.

Dr. David Ziefle has been a partner at ZIEFLE UNGER since 2022. From 2018 to 2021, he was a lawyer at the international Magic Circle law firm Linklaters in Berlin and Frankfurt.

Dr. David Ziefle specialises in advising companies on M&A/corporate law and employment law. He focuses on drafting complex contracts and providing strategic legal advice to companies in German and English. Further, he provides companies with advice regarding their day-to-day business operations.

After studying at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and Stellenbosch University in South Africa, Dr David Ziefle completed his doctorate under Prof. Dr. Matthias Jacobs at Bucerius Law School. He completed his doctorate thesis magna cum laude in 2017 and passed both legal state examinations with distinction. He spend further stages of his legal training at commercial law firms including Baker McKenzie, Gleiss Lutz and Pöllath + Partners.

In 2023, Dr. David Ziefle was recognized as lawyer of the future / ones to watch by Handelsblatt and Best Lawyers for the third time in a row.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Dr. David Ziefle is a lecturer at TEXOVERSUM LDT Nagold and a member of the legal and tax committee of the IHK Nordschwarzwald.

Dr. Simon Marschke has been a partner at ZIEFLE UNGER since 2023. From 2009 to 2023, he was a lawyer at CMS Hasche Sigle in Stuttgart for 14 years, most recently in a senior position as Principal Counsel.

Dr. Simon Marschke advises national and international companies and investors as well as private individuals and the public sector on various aspects of real estate law and general contract law, including commercial and residential tenancy law, purchasing law, land law and land registry law, architectural and construction law as well as the law on contracts for work and services (esp. supply contracts) and general terms and conditions.

He mainly advises on real estate and portfolio purchase agreements, project developments (property developers), commercial tenancy law (contract drafting and contract execution) and corporate transactions (M&A). In addition, he represents his clients in out of court and in court disputes.

After studying at the Universities of Tübingen and Konstanz, Dr. Simon Marschke was awarded a doctorate in law by the law faculty of the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2009 on a planning law topic (“Der Gebietserhaltungsanspruch”).

Norbert Miller is a founding partner of the Rottweil-based law firm Schwaibold & Miller, which specialised in insolvency and merged with ZIEFLE UNGER in 2016. At ZIEFLE UNGER, he works as a counsel.

Norbert Miller has been an insolvency administrator for more than 15 years. He supports our insolvency and restructuring practice with his vast of experience and proven expertise in insolvency law.

Priska Hirsch has been a lawyer at ZIEFLE UNGER since June 2013.

Her practice focuses on family and inheritance law as well as litigation. In matters of family law, she regularly acts as a mediator with the aim of amicably resolving disputes.

Priska Hirsch studied at the University of Tübingen and specialised in family and inheritance law at an early stage while working at the family court.

Alexander Knittel has been a lawyer at ZIEFLE UNGER since 2014.

Alexander Knittel specialises in advising companies and employees in employment law. He is particularly experienced in the field of litigation before labour courts and out-of-court dispute resolution.

Maximilian Kumpf joined ZIEFLE UNGER as a lawyer in 2019.

Maximilian Kumpf studied at the University of Tübingen and worked as a trainee lawyer in the corporate legal department of one of Germany’s leading energy suppliers. He has successfully completed the theoretical part of his training to become a commercial and corporate law specialist.

Rafael Hummel has been a lawyer since 2017 and joined ZIEFLE UNGER in 2021.

Rafael Hummel specialises in family and inheritance law. His work focuses on drafting contracts for marriages and anticipated succession and also the drafting of wills.

Further, Rafael Hummel is litigation litigator before state courts and represents our clients in civil law proceedings. He advises in German and English.

Rafael Hummel studied at the University of Tübingen.

Natalia Ebert-Leippi joined ZIEFLE UNGER in 2019. In 2021, she was admitted to the bar.

Natalia Ebert-Leippi advises companies in the areas of M&A/corporate law, private construction and architectural law and industrial property protection. Drafting complex contracts and out-of-court disputes are the focus of her work.

Further, Natalia Ebert-Leippi is litigation litigator before state courts and represents our clients in civil law proceedings. She advises in German, English and Russian.

Natalia Ebert-Leippi studied at the University of Tübingen and, before joining ZIEFLE UNGER, worked as a legal advisor for a renowned insurance company.

Benjamin Waldmüller joined ZIEFLE UNGER as a lawyer in 2022. Prior to that, he practised at another medium-sized law firm since 2011.

Benjamin Waldmüller is a criminal law specialist and has worked as a criminal defence lawyer for many years, particularly in white-collar criminal proceedings. He advises companies in compliance and internal investigations.

Another focus of his work is representing companies in commercial tenancy and real estate law.

In addition, Benjamin Waldmüller is part of the ZIEFLE UNGER accident settlement team, which handles the entire settlement for numerous car dealerships.

He advises in German and English.

Benjamin Waldmüller studied at the University of Konstanz.

Claudia Ernst has been working as an insolvency administrator since 2004. She has been part of the ZIEFLE UNGER team since the merger with the insolvency law firm Schwaibold & Miller in 2016. She has been appointed a qualified trustee ^(MFI) in 2013.

Claudia Ernst handles corporate and private insolvencies and brings her many years of experience to our insolvency practice.
